Meet your care team

Nandini Malhotra, LMHC

Experiential therapist specializing in autoimmune conditions and chronic illness

Nandini works at the meeting point of mind, body, and gut. She helps clients listen to what their bodies are communicating, rebuild trust with themselves from the inside out, and find steadiness when their health feels unpredictable. She leads with IFS parts work, somatic therapy, and contemplative psychotherapy, drawing on AEDP and narrative work, and was certified in Contemplative Psychotherapy in 2026. With Nandini, you don’t have to perform being okay or shrink to fit around your condition.

Dr. Sarah Khan, PhD, MBA

Integrative and functional nutritionist specializing in gut health and autoimmune conditions

Dr. Sarah knows this path firsthand. Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s as a teenager, she spent years living with gut issues, low energy, and brain fog before nutrition changed how she understood her health. Today her practice centers on gut health, SIBO, autoimmune disease, thyroid health, and hormonal and metabolic balance. Every plan begins with a comprehensive health history review and becomes a personalized, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle protocol built around the root of your symptoms.

How it works

  1. Meet your team. Start with a free consultation, then a 60-minute intake with Nandini and with Dr. Sarah.

  2. Get your plan. Your providers build your care plan together, then walk you through it in a 60-minute session with all three of you.

  3. Do the work, supported. Meet weekly with Nandini and twice a month with Dr. Sarah, with message access to both between sessions.

  4. Track what’s changing. Monthly care team sessions keep your goals and progress in one shared view.

  5. Choose what’s next. At 12 weeks, review your progress together and decide whether to extend to six months or graduate.

You’re good at figuring things out. This one is wearing you down.

You’ve read the research, cut the foods, tracked the symptoms, and sat through appointments where your labs came back “normal” while you still felt exhausted. Meanwhile, your condition is touching everything: your energy at work, your patience with the people you love, your sense of who you are when your body won’t cooperate. There’s the anxiety about the next flare and the low days that don’t have a name.

And on top of all of it, you’re the one coordinating your own care.

You don’t need another protocol to execute alone. You need people in it with you.

Your body and mind are in the same conversation. Your care should be too.

Most care splits you in two: one provider for your gut, another for your stress, and you in the middle translating. Body of Work puts a functional nutritionist and a therapist on the same team. They plan together behind the scenes, so your nutrition plan accounts for your real life and your therapy accounts for what your body is carrying.

Your symptoms are real and physical. They also shape how you feel, think, and live, and that deserves care too.

  • From stuck to moving. Go from feeling trapped by your condition to participating in your life again.

  • Make sense of what’s happening. Understand how your health, mood, and stress feed each other, so the overwhelm stops feeling random.

  • One team, not two appointments. Your providers plan together, so you’re never the messenger.

  • Retire your role as head of research. Get a nutrition plan built for your body, not pieced together from podcasts and trial and error.

  • Action that comes from clarity, not pressure. Move toward what matters without adding another impossible to-do list.

  • Your ambition stays on the table. We won’t ask you to shrink your life to manage your health.

What you walk away with

  • Clarity on what’s been keeping you stuck, and a way forward that finally makes sense for your body and your life.

  • A personal playbook for flares, foggy weeks, and overwhelm, so a hard day stops costing you a whole month.

  • Progress you can measure at weeks 1, 6, and 12, because feeling better should be something you can see.

  • A plan for your next chapter, written with your care team, so you leave moving forward instead of wondering what now.
